Help me support Megan’s Alternative MBA!
Seth Godin is offering an Alternative MBA program so that he can share his decades of business know-how and passion for making a difference in the world with people who care enough to go out and make those changes. When Megan and I heard about it, we decided that she had to at least try be a part of it. To make it happen, Megan is raising money by offering great deals on paid work! That way, if she’s selected she’ll be able to go to New York and work one-on-one with Seth, learning exactly what she needs to know to make the world a better place. Of course, I’m not just gonna sit on the sidelines and hope she makes it. I’m determined to get in on the action, too!
As of right now, all the money that I can raise by getting pre-paid work (just like what Megan’s doing) will go towards getting Megan to New York to participate in the Alternative MBA program. She needs to raise between $17000 and $22000, depending on whether she can find a place to live for free. …and Megan’s already raised a quarter of what she needs, over $4000. In under 24 hours. Good God.
If you can pay me up front, before Dec. 16th, to support Megan’s plan, I’ll be working for you starting in January! …and I’m more than happy to book projects all the way through August if I can get enough responses for it! While Megan’s in New York, I’ll have the apartment all to myself – so I’ll have all the time in the world to work on your project.

- Detailed pencil sketch work – sample 1, sample 2
- Crisp, clean linework cartoons & illustrations – sample 1, sample 2
- Pinups and Zombification illustrations of you, your friends, your family, your mailman, or your favorite celebrity! – Sample
- Cartoon Portraits – not caricatures, but cartoon versions of real people. …or dogs. Pets are people, too, right?
- Book illustrations and cover illustrations
- Fun, educational, or info-based webcomics, comic strips, or one-offs (like this one!).
- Logo and identity design, including mascot character development (I did the logo and vector work for S&S Trail Services and The Usual Error Project, among others! Plus, Wonder Coach has some of my mascot work up.)
- Full-detail airbrush makeup and prosthetic makeup (I specialize in zombie makeup & effects!)
- Small sculpture work, including painting. Don’t make me show you my D&D miniatures…!
- Character concept art (video game, storyboard, RPG, like this or this!)
- “Concept” conceptual art. I do a great job of illustrating abstract concepts with cartoons. Take a look at the Usual Error book illustrations for more samples!
- Small icons for anything you can think of, including software – sample 1, sample 2
- Static or animated social media usericons for LiveJournal, Facebook, and any other site you have a presence on.
- I also do crazy things with Shrinky-Dinks. …I made a tiny 3-D arcade machine and Mountain Dew vending machine out of them. And if you wanna pay me to make one for you… Hey! Why not?
- Tattoo art. My work translates beautifully into tattoo flash. So if you don’t feel like picking a piece of flash off the wall at the local parlour, I’m your artist! (One girl asked me for a Tyrannosaur eating a cupcake. Yes. Exactly as awesome as you think.)

I don’t typically price things on an hourly rate, but I can at least give a 20% discount to anyone who’s willing to take me up on this offer! Every dollar you spend not only helps send Megan to New York, but it gets you your own personal illustrator at a great price! I’ll improve any project you can put me to work on!
