If you’re new to the world of Martin Whitmore, Evil Illustrator, you might be wondering why we’ve sent you to this page instead of his main site. Honestly? Marty’s site is sometimes a teeny bit unsafe for work — not really unsafe, but then, we guess it depends on who employs you, or whose computer you’re using. Sometimes there is artistic nudity, and sometimes the bearers of that artistic nudity are wielding chainsaws in the name of Truth, Justice, and the American Way. So we figure, hey, better safe than sorry, right?
Who the hell is Martin Whitmore?
Marty is an illustrator who specializes in abstract concepts and character development, with a particular passion for anything that involves horror elements, hot scantily-clad pinup girls, D&D and adventure comics. He does lots of brilliant business illustration as well, including his work on The Usual Error (book page, illustration gallery) and illustrations for business websites, like the Raw Foods Witch, That Idea Blueprint Girl, Sell What’s In Your Head, Linda Eaves’ Getting Off the Couch and Into the World, and dozens of others. He’s also done illustration work for Naomi Dunford’s IttyBiz SpeakEasy, Sonia Simone’s Remarkable Marketing Blueprint, countless small content illustrations, quite a few beautiful headers, and every now and then, an Evil Dead castmembers portrait. He’s also illustrated a few great ebooks, and he maintains a webcomic called Tasty Flesh, all about strippers surviving the zombie apocalypse.
