Low Budget Pictures: Truth in Advertising

Back in 2005, I met a man named Chris Seaver, who is in charge of a little company called Low Budget Pictures. Some filmmakers shoot on a shoestring budget. Chris thinks that shoestrings are overpriced, so fuck that – he’ll shoot with velcro! LBP makes the kinds of movies you would expect if you put the Three Stooges, early Sam Raimi, a gallon of fake blood, and a $5 bill in a blender… then poured it out onto 8mm film. They make the most ridiculous, hilarious, over-the-top movies you’ll ever see. Trust me, one of their films that I own is called “12 Inches of Dangling Fury.” Despite shooting movies on a budget a college student couldn’t eat on, they have worldwide distribution of their films. Now you have no excuse not to watch “Heather & Puggly Cockblock the Apocalypse!”

So, when Chris sent me an e-mail and told me he needed me to design a t-shirt depicting some of the most beloved LBP characters, I was pretty excited! I pumped out this hot, sticky design and sent it over to him:

Low Budget Pictures

The shirts will be coming soon, thanks to Fright Rags, who will be producing them. We’ll keep you updated on how they turn out! I know I’ll wear mine with pride.
