Donations closed yesterday on Community Commission No. 2, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! We nearly doubled our first goal, and shot well past our second! Pencils down, everyone! You’ve been brilliant, twisted, and entirely too generous… and now it’s my turn.
With the amazing amount of love and support you’ve given me throughout the first portion of this drive, you’ve really inspired me. I mean, how could I not be inspired? When you receive your prints in the mail, and you open them up and look at them in person for the first time… unless your brains blow out the back of your head with sheer awesome, I’m not going to be satisfied. So, um, maybe you should all get some kind of special helmet as part of the deal. Let me think about that one and get back to you.
I’ve started on some rough sketches to get the process going, and to start things rolling around in my brain. Some pieces have already stuck together to form larger, more momentous ideas rolling around in my head. You bastards gave me some real doozies, and I’m gonna give you everything I’ve got. When I am finished creating these, I fully expect to be lying in a pool of my own blood, with a big stupid grin on my face.
You should be seeing some awesome stuff here very soon. Keep checking back for updates, and I promise I won’t disappoint! You’ve all earned one hell of a show. Now it’s time for the magic to begin!
